Measure For Sliding Screen Doors

   Typically measure from the top of the bottom rail into the top U Channel about 1/4 to 3/8 inch, or about half way. 

    Measure the width from the jamb were the screen door closes to where you want the back of the screen door to stop, usually about half way of the upright glass door mullion.
